WHO WE ARE
Coastal Carolina Conservation Cemetery was founded by community members passionate about ecological stewardship, sustainable end-of-life care, and land conservation. The organization is pursuing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and will operate under a board-governed structure supported by volunteers.
Our geographic focus includes the greater Coastal Carolina region, with an emphasis on areas where conservation and community need intersect.
The Coastal Carolina region faces increasing development pressure, habitat loss, and limited access to sustainable end-of-life options. By establishing a conservation cemetery, we will protect land in perpetuity, support ecological restoration, and meet a growing community demand for green burial.

Our mission is to conserve native habitats, restore biodiversity, and offer families a dignified, nature-centered alternative to conventional burial practices.
